Ordination to the Sacred Priesthood is a consecration, totally giving self to God. We pray for our 20 beloved sons, as they take this major step in their lives this year. May the grace of God continue to flower and increase in their lives, living their lives in the name and in the person of Christ.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God”, is one of the most important statements of Jesus Christ in the Scriptures. It contains both a challenge and a promise which are fundamental to the Christian life. (art 4)

The life of Archbishop Valerian Maduka Okeke these seventy years has been undoubtedly phenomenal in content, impressive in impact and graciously splendid. In various contexts, greatness defines it.

He started out at St. Anthony's Catholic School, Umudioka, and St. Gabriel's Catholic School, Ifitedunu and then followed up with a secondary education at C.K.C., Onitsha.

SEASON OF EASTER

By his resurrection Christ redeemed us from sin, conquered our fears and restored us to the fulness of His joy. This joy bought with it, a very high price of the Paschal Mystery can only be sustained by keeping God’s commandments, says the Archbishop, Most Rev. Valerian Okeke. He encouraged us to embrace this joy of Easter by true repentance, and equally be messengers of God’s joy. He prays for all of us, that the joy of the Lord ever be our portion this Easter season and always.
