DISCOVER BASILICA OF THE MOST HOLY TRINITY
Get ready to discover more about the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity. Located in the city of Onitsha, West Africa, Nigeria. It is the first Catholic Cathedral Basilica East of the Country, where hundreds of faithfuls gather regularly to worship, learn, love and share God's grace and mercy with one another. We look forward to having you at one of our masses soon.
We thank God for consecrating to the Priesthood, to His Service and to the Service of the Church, 9 of our brothers, to live in the Spirit of Christ, the Good shepherd.
We give thanks to God for his merciful love. By his grace, we are able this year, to once again reflect on a major aspect of our faith as Catholic Christians, namely, The Holy Spirit.
Encomiums were showered on the Metropolitan Archbishop of Onitsha, Most Rev. Valerian M. Okeke as he celebrated his 20th Episcopal Anniversary.
He started out at St. Anthony's Catholic School, Umudioka, and St. Gabriel's Catholic School, Ifitedunu and then followed up with a secondary education at C.K.C., Onitsha.

3RD SUNDAY OF LENT (A)
In our life journey, Christ assures us that he is the answer to our deepest quests and most profound longings, says Archbishop Valerian Okeke. He notes that Jesus alone satisfies our material hunger and quenches our spiritual thirst with the milk of grace and water of salvation. In His unfathomable love and boundless mercy, God acts in favour of His people without discrimination despite our unworthiness. While reassuring us of the power of prayer, the Archbishop invites us to pray with an honest acknowledgement of failures and frailties, faith, humility, and responsible stewardship of God’s grace. He finally wishes us a blessed new week flowing with grace and living water, and assures us of his prayers.
